Sophrologist Certified by Sofrocay

Functional IT consultant, a profession that I chose to enable me to help different business users by being their spokesperson.

The ups and downs of life, the doubts, and my self-confidence fleeing from me, I found myself in dead ends. I looked for solutions. After several tries, I chose sophrology.

On the one hand, it allowed me to reconnect with my body without constraining it, and on the other hand because each session brings me peace and serenity.

Not having the sufficient flexibility for yoga, the concentration necessary for relaxation in full consciousness, not wanting to be guided by hypnosis, lacking belief in the chakras, sophrology imposed itself on me as a evidence. Based on respect, it adapts to all practitioners and helps them like any relaxation activity whose benefits in terms of quality of life and well-being are no longer in doubt.

The techniques

The basic techniques are simple and effective and its principles clear:

· Positive action considering that “Any positive action, directed towards consciousness, has a positive impact on the whole human being”*.

· The body diagram as a lived reality: our body expresses itself through movement, concentration, our feelings... our body is always present at every moment of our life and we must respect it

· Objective reality: I am and will remain a helper and in no case do I replace a doctor or specialist.

· Adaptation and flexibility: sessions can be done in groups, standing, sitting and even lying down depending on the participant, their body and their needs.

Professor Caycédo

Dr. Alfonso Caycedo, neuropsychiatrist and founder of sophrology, aimed to study consciousness and its structure. He developed this method and these practices which promote the development of consciousness.

The trigger for this study was that he wanted to find another way to treat patients in the psychiatric hospital in which he worked. in order to replace the procedures of the time.

It was a success.

Then he took inspiration from the East with yoga, zazen, do-in and phenomenology to perfect his method.

It is for all these reasons that I chose to become a sophrologist and that I would like to pass on to you the techniques and tips for this well-being.
